Former Director of the Golda Meir Mount Carmel International Training Center (MCTC) in Haifa, Israel, with an M.A. in Management and Business Administration.

Under the auspices of MASHAV – Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation, she organized hundreds of international training programs focused on women’s leadership, poverty reduction, and socio-economic development across Africa, Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, and the Mediterranean.

She has represented Israel at numerous international forums, including UNECE, UNESCO, the ILO, World Bank, and the UN Commission on the Status of Women. In 2007, she was elected to a three-year term on the Executive Board of INSTRAW, the UN’s International Research and Training Institute for the Advancement of Women.

She is a member of Soroptimist International, the Society for International Development, the National Council of Women, and Women Wage Peace.

As Israeli Delegate to the Permanent Commission of the Mediterranean Women’s Forum (UNESCO Network), she has engaged in ongoing dialogue with women from the Arab world to promote understanding and cooperation. In 2004, she initiated a continuing series of seminars for Palestinian and Israeli women and youth, promoting education for peace and cross-cultural dialogue.

Throughout her career, she has worked to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a focus on empowering women and fostering mutual understanding through education and training.

In recognition of her work, the International Center in Birmingham, Alabama, awarded her the Woman of Consequence Award on International Women’s Day 2008, honoring her efforts to build bridges between cultures through international education.
